The mother of 11 adorable newborn piglets died yesterday not long after giving birth at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa.

The mother pig Daisy died of a seizure (apparently not related to her labor) on Wednesday morning. She had just given birth to 11 pink and black adorable piglets on Tuesday night, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Staffers have to bottle-feed the orphans, who still have their umbilical cords attached, every hour and a half. If you're really into piglets, the late Daisy's neighbor Honeydew is pregnant and expected to give birth next week.
