Christin Briles, the mother of a 7-year-old boy thrown off a boat by his dad last week, is firing back at the dad who claimed it was all good, clean fun.Although Christin was not aboard the tour in Newport Harbor when the incident — and her son — went down, both of her sons have backed up the accounts of other witnesses, who said that Sloane Briles was drunk and fighting with his girlfriend before he threw his son overboard.

"While these good people could not prevent what happened, at least their reports to the police will help get full accountability," Christin Briles said, in a statement through her attorney.

Sloane dove in after his 7-year-old son, but he was ultimately arrested and booked on charges of suspicion of child endangerment and resisting arrest.

This week he told reporters the cruise wasn't anything out of the ordinary: "We were up to the key, and him and I were screwing around, and we just jumped out."
