A 10-year-old girl reported missing turned up safe and sound at a friend's slumber party early this morning.Yaiza Cuevas, who lives in Echo Park was reported missing when her mother went to pick her up from her babysitter's home last night, according to City News Service. But Cuevas wasn't there, and she learned that she had never made it home from music lessons.

It turns out Cuevas told her babysitter that her friend's mom was picking her up from an after-school music class. Cuevas was planning to spend the night, but somehow that message never got relayed to her mother. Oops!

"She was at a friend's house for a sleepover and someone forgot to tell her Mom," LAPD Sgt. Michael Mabie told CNS. "She told the babysitter and apparently the babysitter didn't tell her Mom."

Mom and daughter were reunited at 4:45 am, at the end of what we're guessing was a very long night for mom.
