Free Rides on Metro Tonight, Sunday Schedule Tomorrow
To help keep you moving safely around Los Angeles tonight, Metro will be offering free rides to all passengers on all their subway, light rail, and bus lines. You can hop on board free of charge between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m.--perfect timing for going to and from gatherings where the holiday spirits may be flowing. Metro's goal in giving gratis rides tonight is to curb dangerous driving choices, and, we hope, a little generosity in the spirit of the season. Tomorrow Metro will operate on a Sunday schedule, so plan your trips accordingly.
Next week, Metro will also offer free service for New Year's Eve from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. New Year's Day, and will operate rail and the Orange lines all night.
