Massive Fire Destroys Warehouse In South LA

Approximately 100 LA City FIrefighters are on the scene of a massive structure fire at Stephie's Furniture Manufacturing in South LA near Slauson Avenue and the 110 Freeway. The building is surrounded, but responders are not going inside. Instead, firefighters are taking a "defensive stance," reports KTLA, in an attempt to keep the fire from spreading to surrounding industrial structures and homes. Several nearby transformers have exploded from heat, and the roof of the building has completely collapsed. Fire officials say no one was inside the building and no injuries have been reported.
