Man Wearing Body Armor Opens Fire in Seal Beach Salon, Kills 6 [UPDATED]

Six people were killed and three people were critically injured today after a man walked into a Seal Beach salon and opened fire on its employees and customers, according to KTLA.
The shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. Authorities say the suspect was wearing body armor and had a cache of weapons. They found him about a half-mile from the site of the shooting Salon Meritage, which is located on PCH. He put up no resistance and has been taken into custody.
The shooter's name has not been released, but authorities believe he acted alone.
UPDATED: Two of the victims shot at the salon and transported to the hospital were pronounced dead. An employee at the salon told reporters that the gunman was a husband of one of the employees. We have an updated story here.
