Homeless Man In Wheelchair Hit By SUV, Killed
A man crossing the street in a wheelchair was struck by a car and killed last night in Garden Grove.
Leonard Christian, 55, was not in a crosswalk around 11 p.m. when he was hit by an SUV on Chapman Avenue, police told City News Service.
Christian was homeless, according to the Orange County Register.
Police said Juan Lopez, 43, of Santa Ana, was driving the car and stayed at the scene after the incident. Lopez has not been cited.
