Man Killed After Getting Hit By Train At Hollywood & Vine Metro Station

A man was killed after being hit by a train at the Hollywood and Vine Metro Station early this morning.
Paramedics were called to the station at 5:30 a.m., but the man—whose name hasn't been released—was declared dead at the scene, according to City News Service. It's not clear what led to the man being hit by the train, but authorities are investigating.
The Metro station was closed until 7 a.m. 11:15 a.m., and trains on the Red Line were delayed about 20-25 minutes, since there was only one set of tracks running through that station. The man was hit by a train heading Eastbound, according to the Los Angeles Times.
