Man Dies While Hiking at Runyon Canyon

A man died after becoming ill while hiking at Runyon Canyon today.The man was reported ill at about 2:20 p.m. at the Hollywood park, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. A helicopter tried to rescue the man, but he died at the scene, City News Service reported.
UPDATE 8:03 p.m.: The man was 56 years old, NBC reports. The cause of death is still being investigated, but it appears to have been due to natural causes, according to the watch commander at the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Station. It is unclear if unseasonably warm temperatures played a role.
