Libby Denkmann, Veterans Reporter

More military veterans live in Southern California than anywhere else in the nation. I tell their stories -- from those who excel after discharge to those who falter. How is America supporting its commitment to veterans and their families? How are we falling short? My reporting is powered by The American Homefront Project.
I'm also a University of Washington Husky raised in Redmond, Washington. My radio career has spanned reporter, producer and show host at stations in Seattle and Los Angeles. At KPCC, I served as interim Morning Edition host and now regularly fill in for Larry Mantle on AirTalk.
I grew up playing lots of video games and traveling all over the West Coast for soccer tournaments. My dad is still waiting for me to go to law school.
