Senior Politics Reporter (she/her)I’m allergic to elected officials dodging tough questions and I strive for nuanced, inclusive conversations about civic life.
I’ve been a reporter and radio producer for more than 15 years. In our newsroom, I help lead election coverage and I try to help you understand how your government should work for you. I’m also a regular fill-in host for our public affairs show AirTalk, which airs weekdays from 10 a.m. to noon on 89.3 KPCC.
Los Angeles gives us many gifts, and I find the best show up when I brush off the car-centric stereotype and walk somewhere. You can’t beat an afternoon hike from Echo Park to Dodger Stadium for a day game — taco breaks required. My journalism career began at the CBS Radio affiliate KIRO in my hometown, Seattle, while I was on the way to graduating from the University of Washington. In my downtime, I enjoy playing video games and singing songs to my dog.
