3 Sobriety Checkpoints Tonight: Van Nuys, Hollywood, Venice

We need to hear from you.

We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership. Thank you.

The LAPD will be conducting at least three sobriety and license checkpoints tonight as part of their ongoing endeavor to get impaired drivers off the road and to educate the public about the perils of drunk driving.

Here's what happens: "Motorists approaching a checkpoint will observe traffic signs, information and police officers advising that a checkpoint is ahead. Once diverted into a lane, each motorist will be detained momentarily while an officer explains the purpose of the checkpoint." Drive safely, everyone!
