Laguna Hills Man Arrested In Fatal Stabbing Of His Girlfriend
A man was arrested in Arizona last night on suspicion of stabbing his girlfriend to death inside a Laguna Hills home yesterday.The 24-year-old woman was identified as Alexandra Joyce Tang, a resident of Santa Barbara by the coroner's office, according to City News Service.
Her boyfriend Derek Pinski, 25, of Laguna Hills was arrested 8:30 p.m. last night in Mesa, Arizona. Sheriff's deputies say Pinksi will be extradited to Orange County, where he will be charged for the murder of Tang.
Deputies responded to a call at a home yesterday morning in Laguna Hills. (News reports haven't indicated whose home it was.) Deputies arrived to find the homeowner trying to revive Tang. She had been stabbed several times and died at the scene.
Investigators told CNS that Pinski was at the home when the incident occurred, but he fled to Arizona.
