'Tis the weekend where beer turns green and flows aplenty — and if you're holding one, that means you don't get pinched, right? Your weekend is looking lucky with St. Patrick's day parties, vegan food and "krazy krafts." Maybe we'll find a four-leaf clover.
1. All-day St. Patrick's Party

With a traditional Irish breakfast starting bright and early and an outdoor festival that goes all day, the 80th annual St. Patrick's Day celebration at Tom Bergin's Public House will have you doing an Irish jig. It features games, music and pints of Guinness. The festival starts at 11 a.m. and runs until to midnight, but the party continues indoors until 2 a.m.

2. Grilled Cheese and Beer Tasting

3. Shamrock ‘N’ Roll
The Queen Mary's annual celebration features two stages of shamrockin’ Irish live music and performances including sets by Hoist the Colors and California Celts. 5. A Very L.A. Spelling Bee
S-P-E-L-L every word correctly at A Very L.A. Spelling Bee in English, Spanish or both! The bee, hosted by L.A. Public Library as a part of the Hollywood is a verb: Los Angeles Tackles the Oxford English Dictionary program.
Get inspired to spell by this Kindergarten champ:
To participate, reservations are required. Spellers must be 12 or older and can bring up to four guests to cheer them on. As the spelling competition narrows, poetry, word games and dictionary-themed puppet shows will hit the stage. Don't M-I-S-S the fun (or a letter).

6. Kids Krazy Krafts Day

Massage your right brain while your kids live it up at Krazy Krafts Day. There will be demonstrations on everything from paper making and origami to cartooning and calligraphy. Plus, there will be museum tours and pizza for sale. Pro tip: Bring a T-shirt to get printed during the the screen printing demonstration.

7. L.A. Persian Parade
Celebrate Nowruz, the Persian New Year, with a parade that marches down four blocks of Spring Street and leads to a celebration at Grand Park in downtown. This year's theme is "The Glories of Persepolis" and features performances by the Iranian Choir of America and the Pasadena Pipers.

8. Vegan Street Fair
Vegans, rejoice! This fair is all about you. Local vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants are hitting the street to bring you a Sunday full of tasty treats. Enjoy punk-themed donuts from Donut Friend or Ethiopian cuisine from Azla Vegan, plus food from almost 80 other vendors. Vegan fashion will also be on hand so you can get a tee that proclaims to the world, "Kale, yeah!" Pro tip: Cash is suggested to buy 50-cent food tickets, but ATMs will be on site.

SHE is a day dedicated to honoring the contributions of SoCal women co culture and society. The event is put on by the Studio for Southern California History and will feature art exhibits, a walking tour, an altar-making experience, a panel about at-risk girls and a film screening. Featured artists include Ofelia Esparza and Rosanna Esparza Ahrens. Pro Tip: Bring photos of SoCal women you want to honor.
