Teachers strike day 1: More than 20,000 march in downtown Los Angeles
After walking the picket lines at their schools around sunrise on the first day of the strike, thousands of teachers, parents and some students rallied in Grand Park and made one-mile trek in the rain to the LAUSD headquarters.
