Sarah Palin rallies for Republicans in Anaheim
Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin urged Republican conservatives in California to go the polls during a rally Saturday in Anaheim.
Hundreds of Republicans went wild as Palin took the ballroom stage at the Marriott Hotel near Disneyland. She opened her speech by referring to the bear on California’s state flag.
“There’s no way I’m not going to love a state and when you... look up at your state flag and you see emblazoned on that a mama grizzly — at least I think it’s a mama grizzly."
That’s the term Palin used to describe women who support her.

Flanked by the local, state and national Republican Party chairmen, she said momentum is with Republicans in this election but "now is not the time to let up."
"We’ve got to leave the dancing to someone else for right about now but soon, soon we’ll all be dancing because California will be put back on the right track along with the rest of America," Palin said.
She urged voters to back California's “good candidates” but never mentioned the GOP’s nominees for governor or U.S. Senate. Palin gets mixed reviews in the golden state, and neither Meg Whitman nor Carly Fiorina attended.
Palin, a possible presidential contender, focused on national themes.
“Winning means we secure our nation, we secure our free markets, we secure our freedoms. And we secure American exceptionalism."
Jack Reardon drove from San Bernardino to hear Palin.
“She’s just a tremendous energizer. She’s like an energizer bunny. She gets out there and forces people to get involved."

Then the retired manager with Western Electric paused, and added "I don’t know that I’d like to see her as our president.”
Others in the crowd waved Palin for President signs.
