Wednesday 6:20 p.m.: Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 12-year-old girl, reportedly suffering from PTSD, who went missing Tuesday.
Donyetta Butts was last seen at around 9:30 p.m. last night outside the Hometown Inn in Mission Hills where her family had been staying. The family had been living in the hotel for about a month.
LAPD officer Jane Kim described Butts as black, about 5'5" and weighing about 135 pounds. She has long braided black hair with maroon tips and was last seen wearing a pink and white spandex top with black leggings.
"She suffers from post traumatic stress disorder and is currently taking medication," Kim said. "Her mother reported that she was sent to take the trash out and she had not returned."
