Passengers stuck on Transformers ride at Universal Studios
Ten passengers were stuck for over an hour after the Transformers ride at Universal Studios Hollywood stalled on Monday morning.
A call came in at about 9:20 a.m. that the ride had stalled, said Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Anthony Akins.
Firefighters were in the process of removing passengers and had already helped two of the 10 people stuck on board to get off.
No injuries have been reported and it was unclear what caused the ride to stall. Fire officials said safety inspections were underway and that the ride could be back in service as soon as this afternoon.
