Oscars 2017: How to navigate around major Hollywood street closures
On Sunday, Feb. 26, most streets around The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood will be impenetrable to make way for the Academy Awards. But, with the big night less than two weeks away, folks are already starting to find their regular commute blocked by closed road signs.
The most impactful closure will begin 10 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19 through Wednesday, March 1, with a complete shutdown of Hollywood Boulevard between Highland Avenue and Orange Drive.
However, motorists should also be aware of other minor alternating closures, some already in effect and others that will be implemented starting this Sunday, Feb. 19.
