How the LA Zoo is trying to save an endangered Southern California frog
There are just 100 Southern Mountain Yellow-Legged Frogs left in the wild, but in a plain-looking shack next to the South America exhibit at the Los Angeles Zoo, over 2,000 Yellow-Legged Frog tadpoles are swimming in tanks. They're part of a captive breeding program designed to save the endangered frog, which only lives in the mountains of Southern California.
