Flying American Airlines through Bob Hope Airport made easier

BURBANK — American Airlines passengers traveling through Bob Hope Airport in Burbank will soon have the ticket counter and passenger gate in the same terminal.

Beginning Thursday, the American Airlines ticket counter will be moved from Terminal A to Terminal B, airport officials announced.

The American Airlines passenger gate is located in Terminal B, but the ticket counter has been in Terminal A. The relocated counter will be in Terminal B adjacent to the security checkpoint leading to the American Airlines gate.

"The passengers will enter Terminal B and find the American Airlines ticket counter within a few feet of the main doorway, and they will no longer have to walk from Terminal A to Terminal B after they check in,'' said Denis Carvill, director of contracts and properties for the airport.

American Airlines provides four daily non-stop flights from Burbank to Dallas/Fort Worth.
