Dry weather, high winds across Southern California elevate risk of fire
High winds and dry weather are forecast through Thursday across Southern California.

Dry, windy conditions around Southern California have elevated fire danger across the region.
The National Weather Service says the arid conditions will run through Friday afternoon in valleys, mountains and forests from Los Angeles to San Diego counties.
"Although there is no Red Flag warning in place across the region (from Los Angeles north to San Luis Obispo)...there will be elevated fire danger today through Friday," meteorologists said in a statement.
Red flag warnings are in effect for Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties.
Humidity will hit just 5 percent to 15 percent and offshore winds of 15 to 25 mph with some gusts to 45 mph. Temperatures will hit the 80s in some areas.
A cooler marine layer will return Friday evening, easing the fire conditions.
