Dead body of man found hanging from tree near Dodger Stadium
Authorities are investigating a possible suicide in Echo Park this afternoon after the body of a man was found hanging from a tree.
Firefighters were called to Stadium Way and Boylston Street near Dodger Stadium at 4:10 p.m. to respond to reports from a passerby that a man had stopped breathing, said LA Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
The unidentified man was found hanging from a tree branch and was declared dead on arrival, Humphrey said.
Police are investigating the death as a possible suicide, said LAPD spokesman Cleon Joseph.
