Car crashes, overturns on Foothill Freeway in Azusa

A car crashed and overturned on the Foothill (210) Freeway today in Azusa, but no one was injured, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The accident was reported at 11:49 a.m. today on the westbound side of the freeway near Azusa Avenue, said Officer J. Connolly of the California Highway Patrol.

A SigAlert was issued at 12:02 p.m., but the three blocked lanes were reopened about 12:50 p.m.

No one was injured in the accident, Connolly said.

The cause of the accident was under investigation.
