California teachers get free tickets to Universal Studios
Teachers statewide can get a free ticket to Universal Studios Hollywood through March 31, it was announced today.
"This 'Salute to Educators' is just another step in our commitment to education aimed at rewarding teachers and school employees and encouraging community partnership in the effort to provide quality education in an environment of shrinking resources," said Larry Kurzweil, the theme park's president and chief operating officer.
The offer is good for all K-12 teachers, as along as they have valid employee or union photo identification. Eligible educators can also get a 50 percent discount on as many as three additional tickets.
