California Lags In National Report On Child Well-Being
The 2019 edition of the annual KIDS COUNT Data Book shows that California is behind a lot of other states when it comes to education, health and well-being for its children. The report from the Annie E. Casey Foundation, shows that the state ranks 35th overall, 46th for economic wellbeing -- with high rates of child poverty and high housing costs -- and 36th for education.
