Big rig crash on southbound 101 Freeway causes delays

A crash involving a big rig and four vehicles closed all lanes on the southbound 101 Freeway near the Santa Monica Boulevard overpass Tuesday afternoon.
No fatalities have been reported, but two firetrucks are on scene to assist with possible injuries sustained in the crash, California Highway Patrol officer Patrick Kimball told KPCC.
The crash reportedly happened at around 3 p.m. and a Sigalert was issued at 3:21 p.m. The number one lane has since reopened.
