All flights between LAX and Houston cancelled
Today’s travelers between Los Angeles and Houston should expect an interruption: All scheduled flights from Texas to LAX have been cancelled due to Tropical Storm Harvey.
As of this morning 20 LAX-bound flights were cancelled, along with 18 flights to Houston.
“The best thing flyers can do is stay in contact with their airline,” said Charles Pannunzio, a LAX public relations specialist. “Check with your airline to make sure about what your schedule is.”
Pannunzio told KPCC that the path between LAX and Houston’s two airports, Bush Intercontinental and Houston Hobby, is “a popular route.”
The Federal Aviation Administration estimates that the two Houston airports will reopen later this week.
