3.9 quake strikes near Big Bear City
A preliminary magnitude-3.9 earthquake struck about a mile and a quarter east-southeast of Big Bear City on Monday.
The quake originated at a little more than 4 miles deep at 1:08 p.m., according to data from the U.S. Geological Survey.
