3.3-magnitude quake strikes off Malibu
A magnitude–3.3 earthquake struck about 5 miles off the coast of Malibu early Tuesday.
The quake hit just before 3 a.m., originating a little more than 9 miles deep.
A few hundred people reported feeling slight shaking in Malibu, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks and Camarillo, according to the USGS-Caltech “Did You Feel It?” website.
There were no reports of damages.
