Win Tickets to Kanye West at NOKIA Theatre LA Live!

Truth matters. Community matters. Your support makes both possible. LAist is one of the few places where news remains independent and free from political and corporate influence. Stand up for truth and for LAist. Make your tax-deductible donation now.

Kanye West tickets for the April 21st concert sold out extremely quickly this morning during pre-sale (uh oh!). But we're happy to announce that they just decided to have a second Kanye West concert at NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE taking place the next day on Tuesday, April 22.

Lucky for you, we have one pair of tickets to give away here on LAist. To enter the contest, you must submit a comment on this post telling us your favorite Downtown Area Los Angeles tip by 11:59:59 P.M., Monday, February 18, 2008. You must also be available to respond to an e-mail from from LAist by 3:00:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 19, 2008 if you're randomly selected to win the pair of tickets.

A Downtown LA tip could be your favorite restaurant, best cut through traffic tip, where to find bicycle racks, where free secret hidden wifi is, your favorite seat inside NOKIA Theatre L.A. Live, etc. Have fun with it, but tell us something about Downtown where Kanye will be playing. If you've never been downtown, we're sure you can find something cool via Google.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., you can purchase them here at Ticketmaster.

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Our only loyalty is to our audiences and our mission: to inform, engage, and strengthen our community.

Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive from readers like you will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
