Jodie Foster Accused of Attacking Photog at The Grove, James Farentino Arrested in Hollywood
A 17-year-old who took photos of Jodie Foster as she walked with her children at The Grove has filed a complaint with police after she "poked him in the chest and grabbed his elbow, causing visible injuries," according to the New York Times, which notes that a representative said the teen is a professional photographer and that the report was a "fabrication." Foster "touched him on the elbow in an attempt to take him aside to talk to him and tell him to stop," the rep explained. The LAPD is looking into the matter, but the LA Weekly finds that security footage has "mysteriously disappeared."In a separate Hollywood incident, 72-year-old actor James Farentino was arrested on suspicion of battery at his home last night. Details are sketchy at this point, but a man Farentino tried to physically remove from his property, apparently injuring him in the process, turned around and placed him under citizen's arrest, according to KTLA. He was released from jail this morning after posting $20,000 bail.
The "Dynasty" actor, who also appeared in "The Final Countdown," "Dead & Buried" and "Bulletproof," was charged with multiple counts after stalking one of Frank Sinatra's daughters after they dated.
