JetBlue Comes to LAX!
JetBlue announced this morning that they will begin offering two daily nonstop flights each way between LAX and JFK in New York City and Logan International in Boston. Tickets will go on sale February 4th with flights beginning on June 17.
Currently, JetBlue flights to the east coast can be taken from Burbank and Long Beach Airports.
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa gave some nice spin on what this means: "Even in these tough economic times, JetBlue is demonstrating that the road to recovery is through Los Angeles. We are thrilled that JetBlue is offering quality airline service from one of America's premier airports."
