Photos: This Is What Snow In The LA Mountains Looks Like
As you well know by now, it's been raining all week. But rain isn't the only weather event taking Los Angeles by storm -- it's also snowing! In the mountains! At altitudes with which most of us will probably not interact at all! (Except, naturally, the winter sport enthusiasts. You are seen.)
According to the National Weather Service, mountains and high travel corridors could see snowfall of one to two feet at 7,000 feet elevation, falling to 2,500 feet late Tuesday and 2,000 feet Tuesday night.
And now, to incite your cold weather lust and make you wish that you didn't have stupid work getting in the way of what should be your all-day-every-day outdoor activities, here are some photos of the snow (...the snow, that you're not in).
