Save for the first photo here--probably chock full of code violations and, ahem, maybe some missing bodies--most of these apartments entered into a dirtiest apartment contest just seemed cluttered.

"I'm a horribly nerdy shutin that literally lives in my parent's basement," says hamhockwho claims to live in the L.A. apartment shown in the first photo above. Unfortunately, this should-be winning apartment didn't make the final round.

However, other apartments (cleaner ones) are winning in this silly contest. The second photo above, apparently in West Hollywood, is in the top 10. "At the time this picture was taken, I had spent two months organizing hundreds of people to break the world record for the most people to do Michael Jackson's Thriller dance, and hadn't really prioritized cleaning my room," explains mahdroo, who claims this West Hollywood apartment as their own.

If you've got a dirtier one, speak up!
