Ice Cube Tears: Record Low Temperatures On Saturday

After setting record high temperatures a little over a week ago, several locations around Los Angeles noted record lows on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
The thermometer hit an icy 28 degrees In Palmdale while Lancaster warmed up to a balmy 29. Lancaster’s previous record chill for this date was a 31 degree achievement reached in 1999. Palmdale tied its record low with a temp set in 1933.
At UCLA, the weather station logged a low of 41, and in Long Beach, would-be ocean frolickers were met with the reality of 43 degrees. Both of these temps also tied previous record lows for this date set in 1999, reports CBS Local.
