At least one horse got loose in Griffith Park this morning, spooking other horses and resulting in injuries to seven riders.

News reports are conflicting about exactly what happened, and we haven't heard the story straight from the horse's mouth. But CBS says the injured riders - four adults and three children - were on rented horses. The riders were sent to hospitals to treat their injuries.

Police closed off the Glendale entrance to Griffith Park as they tried to figure out what happened.
