A man was shot Tuesday afternoon near the Hollywood and Highland shopping complex in Hollywood.

LAPD Officer Sal Ramirez told LAist that the shooting occurred at about 1:12 p.m. Tuesday, and that officers responded to reports of shots fired. Ramirez said that a victim suffering from a gunshot wound was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. TMZ, Fox 11 and KTLA are reporting that 32-year-old rapper Young Dolph was allegedly injured in the shooting. LAPD's public information office was unable to confirm the identity of the victim or victims.

Ramirez told LAist that the suspect's vehicle was a gold Cadillac SUV and that the LAPD had one possible suspect in the custody.
