HBO's "Entourage" Features Downtown Stadium Proposal
Just like in last week's episode, "Entourage" on HBO continues to comment on local L.A. news topics, most notably the prospect of bringing a NFL stadium to Los Angeles. In Sunday evening's episode, Hollywood power agent Ari Gold brings together high rolling potential funders to back his stadium proposal in downtown Los Angeles, next to L.A. Live. Seen in the group is Casey Wasserman, who in reality is actually proposing a stadium in that location. "The Downtown proposal is up against Staples Center partner Ed Roski's plan to put a stadium in the City of Industry," notes Eric Richardson at blogdowntown. "While Roski's efforts had a significant head start, the race really comes down to who can be the first to get a team to commit."
