More Bang For Your Buck: Gunshots At Hollywood ArcLight
Late-night moviegoers got two hours of extra browse time at the Hollywood ArcLight Cinemas gift shop last night while police investigated reports of gunshots in the adjacent parking lot.
No one was allowed to leave the train station-sized lobby or parking garage as Los Angeles police officers searched the grounds for suspects and evidence related to the reported shots that took place around 2:30 a.m.
According to an interview in the LA TImes, police on the scene, "shut down the exits, searched beneath vehicles, conducted pat-downs and asked people to open their trunks."
