Golden Globes Street Closures And No-Parking Zones

The Golden Globes is being held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel this Sunday, and Beverly Hills Police announced closures for us commoners without an invite.

Should you plan on passing through Beverly Hills, here are the routes and parking spots to steer clear of:

  • Santa Monica Boulevard will be closed between Wilshire Boulevard and Century Park East from 9 a.m. to midnight, but you can use Little Santa Monica Boulevard.
  • Whittier Drive will be shut down to through traffic between Lomitas Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard.
  • You won't be able to park on that same stretch of Whittier Drive between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Sunday.
  • You won't be able to park on certain streets between 6 a.m. and midnight: Elevado Drive between Wilshire Boulevard and Walden Drive; Trenton Drive between Whittier Drive and Wilshire Boulevard; Carmelita Avenue between Wilshire Boulevard and Walden Drive; Walden Drive between Santa Monica Boulevard and Whittier Drive.
  • Residents: if you need a parking exemption, call the city at (310) 285-2548.
  • The awards show will be happening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
