Get The ZIPskinny On Your Neighborhood
You may know how walkable your neighborhood is, but have you ever wondered what the average income is? Or how many people are married? The average age?
Well there's a site you can check out called ZIPskinny, which uses census data from 2000 to give you detailed information about the neighborhood you live in. For example, I live in Thai Town, which falls under the 90027 zip code. In my area, the average median household income is $31,820, whereas 90210, or the zip code for Beverly Hills, is $112, 572. it can also show you the racial diversity, educational achievement, occupations and many more. A pretty interesting tool to get an idea of where you live.
