Get Out: Graffiti Art, TED Talks, wild Up & Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra

ART: Tonight there will be a holiday-themed graffiti art show "Jingle Bellz Rockz" with live painting, really cheap tacos and live performances in South Los Angeles. MUSIC: Today is the last day of wild Up's residency at the Hammer Museum's. The local chamber orchestra will be performing a program "Art. Music." around the corridors of the museum, featuring works that were written with the spaces of the Hammer in mind. The performance begins at 3 pm, and it's free to the public. HOLIDAY: 'Tis the season for productions of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." The company A Noise Within will be kicking off the run of its own production today and it will run until December 23. Single tickets range from $40 - $52, and tonight's show starts at 8 pm.
TALK: If you're a fan of TED talks and young at heart, you might want to head over to TEDxYouth at Santa Monica today. The afternoon will be hands-on activities and live speakers, including Caine Monroy of Caine's Arcade fame. This year’s theme is "The Game of Life: What You Don’t Learn in School." More MUSIC: The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra will be performing a concert that features Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" as well as works by Copland, Dvořák and John Adams.
