Big Daddy Adam Sandler Gets 2,431st Star on Walk of Fame
He's "Billy Madison," with some "Anger Management," issues: Actor Adam Sandler, who rose to fame as a "Saturday Night Live" cast member and in top-grossing comedy hit films was honored today with the 2,431st star embedded in Hollywood's iconic Walk of Fame.
Joined by his family, and actors Kevin James and Henry Winkler, Sandler accepted his accolade "steps from the Hollywood & Vine Metro stop," according to the LA Times, who note that "Sandler's films, mostly comedies, have grossed more than $3 billion," since he departed SNL.
3 billion is also a rough estimate of the number of times you've heard his "Hanukkah Song" on the radio during the holidays.
