Dear reader, we're asking you to help us keep local news available for all. Your financial support keeps our stories free to read, instead of hidden behind paywalls. We believe when reliable local reporting is widely available, the entire community benefits. Thank you for investing in your neighborhood.

If you thought you could save some bucks and whoop it up at Disneyland on your next birthday thanks to the theme park's freebie, you're too late. As the OC Register's OC Deals Blog reminds us, "the last day you could go to Disneyland for free on your birthday was Dec. 31."

Free park admission on your birthday was a limited one-year promo, however, which might be surprising, both to those who thought they could take advantage of the freebie in the coming months, and to those who thought Disney would want to keep this offer running, "considering how many parents, siblings et al got dragged into the park at full price with the freebie."

Still want to hit up the Mouse for free? You can participate in their 2010 volunteering program in trade for a free ticket.
