Local sex and relationships blogger AV Flox has launched a new naughty site, appropriately called Sex and the 405 . It's tagline: "What your newspaper would look like if it had a sex section." It's a mix of local and national sex-related headlines, from a recommendation for discreet couples at the BondSt Lounge in Beverly Hills to environmentally-friendly, PETA approved whips and the 2010 sex blogger calendar .

But what caught our nerdy eyes was a brief article about Australian redback spiders. According to researchers, "a male redback has to vibrate the female’s web for 100 minutes before attempting to mate or the female will cannibalize the over-eager loser." The sudden feeling of male gratefulness is overwhelming right now.
