Where To Find 15 Cent Hot Dogs
Lovers of cheap eats get ready: Wienerschnitzel is offering 15 cent hot dogs this Sunday, July 21. The original Chili Dog, Mustard Dog or Kraut Dog will all be on offer, but it's just one per customer, so choose wisely.
The humble chain is celebrating National Hot Dog Month as well as their founder, who sadly passed away earlier this year. Wienerschnitzel was started by Galardi in Irvine in 1961, and has since grown to 300 outlets across the United States.
If you're up for more of a gourmet treat, head on over to the newly-opened Umami Burger in Burbank, which replaced the old Papoo's Hot Dog Show. They're focussing on fancified encased meats that utilize the fifth taste. They're admittedly a bit more expensive than the fast food version, but still a nice SoCal treat.
