Where to Find $1 Turkey Subs This Thursday
Though a sandwich might seem like a simple thing to create, making a good one truly is an art form. Las Vegas-based sub shop Capriotti's has had that form nailed for 37 years now, and they're celebrating their birthday this Thursday by offering $1 sandwiches.
For just a buck, eager eaters will get a taste of their best selling sammie called The Bobbie which is made with in-house roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, homemade stuffing and a touch of mayo. Think of it as Thanksgiving leftovers without having to turn on the oven in the heat. (Trust us. We were just testing holiday recipes, and that's not something you want to do in the middle of summer.)
The $1 Bobbie sammies will be available at the Beverly Hills, Encino, Culver City, Torrance, Walnut, Covina and Glendora locations from 3 p.m.-7 p.m.
