Earlier today we reported on the second installation of Echo Park Rising, a one-day music festival that's aiming to fill the void that Sunset Junction left after it's elimination last year.
This year the Echo Park festival is returning, and with more planning it should be bigger and better (but still free). Echo Park Rising kicks off this Saturday around 11 a.m. at venues along Sunset Boulevard and goes on until 2 am. There will be live music, DJs, comedy, film screenings and zine-making.
