The weekend is so close you can practically taste it. Here are the edible events going on in the next few days to keep you occupied -- and sated, for that matter.

Namaste Sundays:We love stuffing our faces as much as the next food freak, but even more so we appreciate balance. Why not end your weekend with an event that fuses rejuvenation, relaxation, fitness, and delicious food? This Sunday at the Viceroy Hotel, there'll be a beachside yoga and meditation session led by yogi and art therapist Jesse Groveman followed by a farm-to-table, family-style al fresco lunch. Before yoga class there'll be fresh pressed juices sans booze, but after the class, you can retox with juice cocktails, seasonal fruit popsicles, and a little poolside relaxation. Tickets are $75 per person You can find out more here.

Artisanal L.A.:Artisanal L.A. has become the ultimate creative marketplace, gathering makers, crafters, artisans, and chefs for a weekend celebrating artisan production. Since its start in 2010, it's grown from having about 70 local vendors to now hosting 178 food crafters from across the U.S., in addition to hosting hosting demos, book signings and workshops. This Saturday and Sunday, the event will be hosted at the L.A. Mart Downtown. You can get your $12 tickets here.

A Taste of Italy:The fifth-annual Taste of Italy will go down tomorrow in downtown Los Angeles. The event will showcase over sixty of the region’s best restaurants and Italian and 100 world-class wines, as well as celebrity chefs, live entertainment, cooking demonstrations and celebrity appearances. Drago Centro, Fabio Viviani’s Cafe Firenze, Toscanova, Locanda Del Lago, Casa Nostra, Trattoria Neapolis, Il Fornaio, GROM, and Dominick’s will all be in attendance. You can find out more information and get your $55 presale tickets here.
